Reinventing Longganisa Cookfest amidst Pandemic
The Corona Virus Infectious Disease 2019 or COVID-19 that started in China spread worldwide that affected the whole economy of each country. Due to this, we can’t do the things we usually do; our daily life is greatly affected. Large crowd gathering is also forbidden for the safety of the people, thus, annual festivities that attracts tourists of some places was never been like before, just like the longganisa festival held every 22 nd day of January in Vigan City. Amidst to the pandemic, the City Government of Vigan celebrated the Longgganisa Festival 2021. Some activities were held thru on-line, other thru face to face following strickly the safety health protocols of the national government against covid-19.
