Women are very important in our own world and have a very big role in our community. It is very important that we must acknowledge and give emphasis on what they can give or contribute to the community. That why we have what we call National Women’s Month. This event is annually celebrated every month of March. This celebration emphasise the strength of women in our society, what they can do and contribute on their own way. It is the venue or time to discuss and address issues and concerns regarding women and on how to counter these problems so that we could continue to face challenges and the empowerment of ladies can be fully achieved. 

Back to the past, there are big gap between men and women in almost all aspects like work, politics, positions and others to mention. In 1909 and 1911 women in United States participated in organizing strike activities and protested against low wages, lacked of protective legislation and the very poor working conditions that women are subjected to in that time. Now, the participation of women in the community is; in all aspects is undoubtedly no less than man. Now in this time of pandemic and in battling this killer virus, frontliners in all over the world, we can see ladies that are brave enough, risking their lives just to protect and serve our constituents especially those who got that virus. We can not only depend now on men but more likely, women are always there to give a helping hand with big heart to the needy.  

This year’s celebration for National Women’s Month is very different than the past years due to the Pandemic. It highlights women’s participation in battling Covid-19 and address gender issues and concerns that may arise during the health crisis. Let us show to the world the women’s power against this virus. Let us be the shield of our constituents so that they will not be sick. It’s time that the gap of men and women in the society be filled up and let’s all work hand in hand for our success in fighting the pandemic. Let’s continue to be strong and resilient and stay safe during the pandemic.

  I've come a long way and learn so much during the 4th Quarter of School. I learn more about so many things. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the new knowledge I've learned.  Writing essays is not really my forte so I struggle a lot making one. It was hard for me most of the time. 3rd Quarter

  Throughout the 3rd Quarter I learned further about html and web design, I also learned about Community Based Research. Through the activities, I learned more or discover more about the community I’m in.  Some of the challenges I’ve encountered is that lack of motivation, unstable internet connection, etc. These challenges are mostly self-dependent and as long as I push myself harder, I should be able to win against these challenges or problems.  Relaxation is good but it seems that I’m relaxing too much that I spent much more time to complete my modules compared to before, so, I’m trying to regain my focus and motivation in learning this past few days.  Moving on, I’ll try to get back my motivation and work much harder than before.         Many challenges and problems arise everyday. Some have minimal impact and some can even change our lives. Many people suffer hunger, pain, injustices and many more. We experience this hardships and the harshness of life, yet, we've gone through it all and survived.     During this pandemic, new and stronger challenges emerge. Problems in education, livelihood, health, etc. With new casualties popping out, we became anxious, specially if this COVID casualty is in our place. Our physical and mental health is always at risk.     Frontlines are our heroes this pandemic. They do their best for the sake of their love ones and our country.
