  I've come a long way and learn so much during the 4th Quarter of School. I learn more about so many things. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the new knowledge I've learned.  Writing essays is not really my forte so I struggle a lot making one. It was hard for me most of the time. So making essays are the last thing I'll do when doing my modules.  Doing the essays let me improve my writings, even just a little bit. Everytime I ran out of Ideas on how to write and what to write, I mostly turn to the internet and get ideas and inspiration.         Over the decades, the world changed and some bad effects are made in the environment because of the advancement of technology in humankind and the continuous growing need of human. Let’s us cherish our world and make it a better place to live again. Simple things such as disposing junk in their proper place are one of the ways we can help our world be clean and safe. But many of us failed to do so. We can still see plastics junks on the streets and rivers. The 5R is also a very handy practice; we can sell those recycled parts or made use of them at home. Not only will it help us save money it will also help our environment. There’s are so many ways we can help our environment aside from those given, like planting trees, making use of renewable energy etc. So why not do something for our environment to live a better life?       My parent’s is someone I can be proud of, because they didn’t let me feel alone and not loved. I know this is a privilege that some don’t experience. They are there with me through happy times and sad ones. I love my parents and I know they love me too.        During mother’s day, which is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May, I greet my mother a “Happy mother’s day”. I didn’t do anything extravagant or give gifts, letters or such maybe, because I became used to not giving one or because I don’t have money? No matter what the reason, I believe that it’s the thought that counts. Greeting someone may be simple but some people might have a hard time doing it.  That simple greeting contains my emotion: gratitude, happiness, and many more. I hope she felt it too.          It’s been more than a year the pandemic affected the whole world especially the economy of every country. This pandemic affected the lives of millions of peoples because of lockdowns, closure of businesses and establishments as well as transportations. Also, tourism is hardly affected  in municipalities, cities and provinces but amidst to this pandemic, some are still celebrating its annual festivities that used to be a tourists attractions of their places. Vigan City is one of this places that used to celebrate its annual festivities like the Binatbatan Festival of the Arts. It  is yearly celebrated in the first week of May.   Throughout the 3rd Quarter I learned further about html and web design, I also learned about Community Based Research. Through the activities, I learned more or discover more about the community I’m in.  Some of the challenges I’ve encountered is that lack of motivation, unstable internet connection, etc. These challenges are mostly self-dependent and as long as I push myself harder, I should be able to win against these challenges or problems.  Relaxation is good but it seems that I’m relaxing too much that I spent much more time to complete my modules compared to before, so, I’m trying to regain my focus and motivation in learning this past few days.  Moving on, I’ll try to get back my motivation and work much harder than before.   Vaccines give protection to most people around the world. Vaccination should not be feared because it gives more benefit rather than harm. More than a year now, the spread of covid-19 is rampant that’s why experts developed vaccine to control the said virus, or totally eradicate it in the future. Vaccines contain weakened or inactive parts of a particular organism (antigen) that triggers the immune response within the body. The weakened version will not harm us as some people thinking of, instead, it will prepare the immune system to respond and fight the specific disease causing organism. Some Vaccines require multiple doses to allow the production of long lived antibodies and development of memory cells. In this way, our body is building up memory of the pathogen so as to rapidly fight it if exposed in the future.  No single vaccine provides 100% protection, so being vaccinated does not mean that we can throw caution to the wind and put ourselves and others at risks.   Due to the pandemic, we cannot go outside our house nor do things we like to do. Everything is shrouded in gloom and worry and problems kept popping out.   Some problems against gender equality popped out this pandemic but we all know that women have great contributions in everyone’s lives. Women can do things men can do. Their participation in combating COVID-19 is greatly appreciated and the things they did are no less than men. As Filipino’s are known for their Tender, love and Care (TLC), even outside the country our services are praised.   In April 9, 1942, the battle of Bataan ended. Lieutenant Normando Ildefonso Reyes informed the Philippines and the world, the message that Captain Salvador P. Lopez prepared from Malinta Tunnel in Corregidor, “Bataan has fallen”. The battle of Bataan lasted 93 days or four months after USAFFE retreated to Bataan. What followed afterwards is the March of 76, 000 prisoners of war and was known as the Bataan Death March.  Because of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, there were no ships capable of delivering reinforcements to Bataan.       Lent is a period of penitential preparation for Easter. The word Lent is an old English word which means lengthen. In spring, where the days begin to get longer is when lent is observed. Western and eastern churches have different date for Lenten season. Western churches starts lent on ash Wednesday and they exclude Sundays while eastern churches start lent on Monday, 7 week before Easter  and end it on Friday, 9 days before Easter in which they call this period the ‘Great Lent’. The lent period last for 40 days, it imitates the fasting of Jesus Christ in the wilderness before he began his public ministry. The last week of Lent is called Holy week.   Women are very important in our own world and have a very big role in our community. It is very important that we must acknowledge and give emphasis on what they can give or contribute to the community. That why we have what we call National Women’s Month. This event is annually celebrated every month of March. This celebration emphasise the strength of women in our society, what they can do and contribute on their own way.    This second quarter of the school year, I learned a lot. This is like an adventure through the HTML world. I learned how to use different html tags like the <p>and </p> tag that defines a paragraph. I learned how to insert pictures, tables, change font style, font size, font color, change the background and many more. Every time I discover a new tag I easily get excited and can’t wait to try it out. HTML is a very interesting lesson that I’m looking forward to learn and understand more about it. I’m amazed by how this tags turn out to be in the browser.    When I am using a tag, I sometime forgot to put the symbol “/”. But it can easily be corrected by going back to your work and review it.  Sometime I input some extra character, number or symbol or there will be some misspellings but all can be corrected if you review your work and fix the mistakes you’ve made.    It is said that love is everywhere and love can be feel every day in any places; in any part of the world. It is very true that’s why, traditionally, in a year, there’s a month of love that people celebrates. In every 14th of February falls what we call the Valentine’s Day. It is the day wherein lovers widely celebrate this day. But it’s not only for lovers. It is actually for all people, for the community; for the family, relatives and friends.      As to express the celebration, some gives their love one a remembrance.       Kannawidan festival is being celebrated every year in commemoration of the foundation of the province of Ilocos Sur. This commemorates the separation from the provinces of Abra, Ilocos Norte and La Union. A lot of activities are in line to make the celebration of the said events fruitful and meaningful and it will attract tourists not only in the nearby provinces but in the whole country and other countries.    The festival showcases the province’s trade and agriculture products. Every town has their own local products to showcase or what we call the OTOP or one town one product.                   The Corona Virus Infectious Disease 2019 or COVID-19 that started in China spread worldwide that affected the whole economy of each country. Due to this, we can’t do the things we usually do; our daily life is greatly affected.     A whole year full of memories; some are bad, some are good. Memories that we want to forget and memories that we want to last forever. It is something that made us who we are.    Every year, we make our own new years resolutions, a goal for ourself; something to improve. New year is a new beginning to a whole of roller coaster ride. It'll take us to the ups and downs of life. It gave us a chance to create memories we'll cherish.    New beginning is not only at new year. I believe it can be everyday.      This year is very different than the previous years. The pandemic changes many things. It gave me time for myself and my family. It also let's me experience another way of learning.     I learned a lot during this times but I admit that I forgot some of it. I discover many things that I don't know and improve or add something about those I previously know. In this times Internet became my friend.     I had a hard time with those things I don't understand and stressed myself away trying to uncover its mysteries. I surf the internet for information I needed or I previously forgot just to further my knowledge and comprehend those topics. Asking other person helps too.    Adding more information when you're mentally exhausted is not good and makes me more confused. I stop myself and take time to relax.     We can already observe the effects of climate change in our environment. Global warming, melting of ice, rising of sea level, etc. We need to spread awareness and do something about it.    The pandemic have a great impact on us but even so we still need to be aware and care for our environment. This pandemic, we can do things in the premises of our homes and start a hobby that can help our environment like planting trees, minimal to no use of plastics, cleaning, etc. By doing so, we are enjoying ourselves while helping our environment. With every disaster, we experienced loss and helplessness. Disaster is like the Grim Reaper who can end our lives easily. Drills let us know what to do during such instances. Participating in earthquake drills give us more knowledge about what to do during, before and after an earthquake. It helps us know which place we need to go to when an earthquake occur and many more. With this knowledge, we can save ourlives and have lesser damage to our belongings. One example of earthquake drill is the National Silmultaneous Earthquake drill. In conclusion, participating in earthquake drills is very advantageous to us. It can save lives, properties and money.

At first, they only prohibited social gatherings or something that deals with large masses causing our periodical exam to be postponed. After some time, school also stopped. Due to the treat of the virus, we stayed in the safety of our homes.     The start of classes is postpones many times.
